QUICK TAKE

BURGER/INK

"LAS VEGAS"

MATADOR RECORDS

Think "Massive Attack" meets "DJ Dado," and you get Belgian trip-hop pioneers, Burger/Ink. On their new release "Las Vegas," the duo prove that they are ready to break into the mainstream music scene. They create incredibly dark and infectuous songs like "Avalon" and "Milk & Honey," which evoke some pretty strange emotions from the listener. The only word to describe it is 'trippy'. The song that makes this album really worth buying is "Flesh and Bleed," it is without a doubt one of the coolest and most hypnotic songs to hit the trip-hop scene ever. Tricky, eat your heart out!
