Wow, bands will do just about anything to put out a successful record these days. Including blatantly ripping off popular acts. Take FAR as an example. On their new album, the quartet takes the musical stylings of Radiohead and completely disgrace it. The lead singer, Jonah Matranga, who sounds EXACTLY like Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke, uses songs like "Bury White" to blatantly rip-off the strangely attractive crooning of Mr. Yorke. Yet, when FAR has a go at it, they end up sounding unbelievably stupid and childish (listen to the chorus of "Bury White" to see what I mean) I don't think that bands will ever learn that originality= decent sounding music. Where as FAR = crap.
